Audit wanted military service his whole life and was turned away at the door, so he trained himself. Now he is finishing that training formally, at a school full of teenagers. The sheet says "Paladin (Unlicensed)" and he insists on saying so, because it is technically accurate.

He fixates on small things like boot-lacing patterns, rivet stress and moth taxonomy, and he is gentle with people. When he swears a Vow of Enmity, it sounds like a courtesy:

"I've decided you're mine now. I do hope that's not inconvenient."

The party

Faith plays the sorcerer, the one who wonders what everything does. She is the party's chaos and Audit is its quiet menace. Neither of them notices danger the way anyone else would.
